Dermablend Goes Vegan
We love seeing brands transitioning to vegan and Dermablend is the latest brand to announce that it’s in the process of launching a new line of products to become a fully vegan brand.
Launching back in 1981, there has been an increase in demand for more brands to offer vegan products and the brand has been working closely with PETA to certify that the products and formulations in question are not tested on animals from inception, down to the manufacturing process.
The brand is now looking to use 13 non-animal methods to test it’s products effectively and additionally, Dermablend have said that they will be removing all the animal-derived ingredients from their products allowing them to become a fully vegan brand.
Malena Higuera, General Manager at Dermablend: “People are looking for brands that align with their values and our goal is to empower our consumers with the confidence and knowledge that they need to make the best decision for their beauty routines.”
Continuing: “Joining PETA’s list of cruelty-free brands is a clear symbol of Dermablend Professional’s commitment to animal welfare and a world without animal testing.”
The brand is not sold in China and has announced that it will launch it’s reformulated vegan product line later on this year.
