There’s nothing better than starting your day with a healthy morning fruit bowl – with nutritious ingredients, this will kick-start your day in the best way possible and here, we have the easy morning fruit bowl recipe for you.

You can change the fruit and use your favourite but always include a banana as this offers a lovely texture. In the winter, you can use room temperature fruits. In the summer, chop and freeze the fruits overnight and blend them in the morning for a “nice cream” base for your fruit bowl.

Easy Morning Fruit Bowl Recipe

What You Need

1 Banana (Chopped)

1 Apple (Chopped)

2 Kiwi Fruits (Chopped)

6 Large Strawberries (Chopped)

Handful of Blueberries

Flaked Coconut

Almonds / Walnuts / Pecans

Oats or homemade granola (recipe coming soon)

Method

Add all the chopped fruits to a food processor and blend until a thick mixture is formed for the base of your fruit bowl.

Pour the mixture into a bowl and top with a selection of fresh fruit of your choice – we love a small handful of blueberries, a few slices of kiwi along with flaked coconuts, almonds, walnuts and pecans.

(Coconut, almonds and pecans can be toasted for a different flavour)

Finally, add a sprinkling of oats or homemade granola as an extra topping.
